Mid Modern Thonet Bentwood Chair
Synchronicity led me to find this coolest of the cool, a mid century modern Thonet bentwood ice cream parlor chair in excellent vintage condition! (Long story).
Sculptural, light and unisex in appeal, this chair is perfect for a myriad of decor sensibilities. The chair shows a minimum of wear on wood with some nicks, scratches and surface wear but nothing that shouts. The seat cover looks to be the original vinyl and is a hard color to describe. Monitors may vary but it is sort of a green yellow without being chartreuse. Much more of a muddy color and there is some evidence of reddish brown mottling which is not visible in photo so again, this does not shout.
